The Ubeya Kiosk App allows employees to clock in and out from a shared tablet when they arrive at the venue.
Follow the steps below to get your Kiosk App ready. Once the tablet is paired with Ubeya, employees can use it to clock in and out smoothly on-site.
What you’ll need before setting up the Kiosk App
Before you start, make sure you have a tablet for the Kiosk App, access to the relevant Ubeya account, and permission to download apps from the tablet’s app store.
You’ll also need access to Settings in Ubeya to generate the Kiosk pairing code.
Step 1: Download the Ubeya Kiosk App
On the tablet, open the app store and search for Ubeya Kiosk App.
Download the app to the device.

A pairing window will open with a temporary Kiosk pairing code. Keep this window open while you complete the pairing on the tablet.
Step 3: Pair the tablet with Ubeya

On the tablet, open the Ubeya Kiosk App.
On the Kiosk Setup screen, enter the Kiosk pairing code shown in Ubeya, then tap Pair.
Once the device is successfully paired, it will appear in the Kiosk device list in Ubeya.
Step 4: Confirm the Kiosk App is ready
After pairing is complete, the Kiosk App will display the employee clock in/out screen.
Employees can then clock in or out by scanning the QR code with the Ubeya app or by entering their employee ID manually.
Setting up more than one kiosk device
If your organization uses multiple branches, departments, or venues, each kiosk device should be paired with the relevant setup in Ubeya.
For example, if different teams need to clock in separately, you may need to pair one tablet for one team or location and another tablet for a different team or location.
Next step
After pairing the device, place the tablet in an accessible location at the venue so employees can clock in and out easily at the start and end of their shifts.
