Ubeya now automatically sorts employees by the smart ranking match score in relevant screens, helping you book faster while still giving visibility to new and novice workers.

Where It Applies

Smart Ranking is used in:

  • Manual booking view

  • The Available employees column

How The Sorting Works

Match Score Priority

Employees are shown in descending order, with the highest match score at the top. To learn more about our new match scores, head on over to the Smart Ranking article.

Visibility for New and Novice Workers

To give newer employees visibility, the system inserts New workers (first shift, green leaf) and Novice workers (2nd or 3rd shift, green hourglass) after every few ranked employees. This balances fairness with highlighting your top-matched staff.

A new toggle is now available in both the Manual booking view and the Available employees column, letting you quickly filter and display only new employees.

Manual Booking

Manual booking view now shows the list sorted by match score and has the New and Novice workers inserted throughout.

Available Employees Column

Sorting Menu

A new option, Sort by Match Score, is now available in the sorting list. It is selected by default and can be edited by clicking the arrow sort symbol and selecting any of the other options.

Additional Details

Regardless of the list:

  • Rejected workers, unbooked workers, employees with warnings, and employees already booked today always appear at the bottom.

  • The update replaces alphabetical sorting with Smart Ranking inside each group.
