What is Gradual Check Availability?
Following the release of our Smart Ranking feature, Ubeya now allows you to publish shifts gradually - sending offers to the best-matching employees first, rather than making the shift available to the entire eligible audience at once.
This ensures each shift is filled with the right employees, improving booking rates, reducing no-shows, and keeping your team happier.
How Gradual Check Availability Works
Gradual Publish lets you release shifts in waves, based on Smart Ranking and employee availability.
Key Principles
Employees are offered shifts in descending order (highest ranked employees will see the offer first), with 30% of each wave reserved for new or novice employees.
The total audience remains the same as today - you can still manually select employees or apply filters.
Wave Size & Timing: The first wave reaches its target audience, and subsequent waves expand automatically every 30 minutes if needed.
Publishing ends once the shift is fully booked or double the amount of needed employees have applied.
