Product Updates - June 2026

Written by Alona

June's greatest updates are here!

Easier Employee Shift Adjustments

Admins can now adjust an individual employee's shift details more easily, without changing the original shift for everyone else.

What's new:

  • Create a new shift for a specific employee and move them to it in one flow.

  • Date and position remain fixed, so the adjustment stays clear and controlled.

  • Key shift details such as start/end time, area, hourly rate, uniform, cost center, and notes can be adjusted during the move.

  • Access this option from the existing Change Shift component using the pencil icon.

This gives schedulers more flexibility when handling last-minute changes, while keeping the original shift unchanged for the rest of the team.

Swap Employee in Scheduling

Managers can now swap employees between shifts directly from the scheduling experience, making it easier to handle real-time staffing changes without creating overbooking.

What's new:

  • Use the new Move Employee action from the employee slot.

  • Choose between Change Shift, Adjust Employee’s Shift, and Swap Employee.

  • Access Swap Employee from the employee slot or from the shift header using Swap Mode.

  • Select the employee you want to move and the employee they should swap with.

  • Confirm the swap to instantly exchange their assigned shifts.

The swap flow includes search, filters, grouping, and shift lists on both sides to help you find the right employees quickly. When relevant, destination shifts are automatically filtered by position, and late employees are clearly indicated to support better decision-making.

Improved Late & Attendance Visibility

We’ve improved the Live Attendance and Live View Timesheet experience to give managers clearer real-time visibility into who has started their shift, who is late, and who arrived late.

What’s new:

  • Late is now shown when an employee has not clocked in within 5 minutes after their shift start time.

  • Arrived late is shown in the Timesheet for employees who clocked in more than 5 minutes after their shift start time.

This helps managers quickly understand who needs attention in real time, while still keeping a clear record of employees who eventually clocked in after their scheduled start time.

Improved Visibility for Captain Assignments in Recent Actions

Recent Actions now gives teams clearer visibility into captain assignment changes, making it easier to track who was assigned or removed as a captain and when the change happened.

What's new:

  • Recent Actions now records when a worker is assigned as a captain.

  • Recent Actions now records when a worker is removed as a captain.

  • This applies across all captain types, including Event Captain, Shift Captain, and Task Captain.

  • At this stage, Recent Actions records captain assignment changes made directly within the account.

This gives teams a clearer history of important staffing updates and helps reduce confusion when managing captain assignments across events, shifts, and tasks.

Captain Management in the Business App

Managers can now assign and remove captains directly from the Business App, making it easier to manage event operations on the go.

What's new:

  • Assign captains directly from the Manager App.

  • Remove existing captain assignments from mobile.

  • Manage all captain types, including Event Captain, Area Captain, Shift Captain, and Task Captain.

This gives managers more flexibility to handle event setup and last-minute staffing updates without switching to Web.

Attachments in Employee Comments

Admins can now add files and images directly to comments on the Employee Profile, making it easier to keep important context in one place.

What's new:

  • Add attachments to employee comments.

  • Upload supported files and images directly from the Comments section.

  • Access this from Web > Employee Profile > Comments.

This helps admins keep supporting documents, screenshots, forms, and other relevant files connected to the employee record for clearer follow-ups and better record-keeping.

Sensitive Data Fields for Employee Privacy

Your organization can now mark specific Employee Profile fields as Sensitive Data, giving admins greater control over who can access highly sensitive employee information.

What's new:

  • Mark Employee Profile fields as Sensitive Data from the Employee Fields settings.

  • Control access with the Sensitive Data Access admin permission.

  • Allow only authorized admins to view sensitive field values.

  • Hide sensitive field values from unauthorized admins, while still showing the field name.

  • Automatically exclude sensitive data from exports and restricted APIs.

Sensitive fields also include additional protections. They cannot be used in filters, audience generators, or compliance configurations, and once a field is marked as sensitive, this setting cannot be changed later.

Where to find it:
Sensitive Data fields can be managed from:

  • Settings > Employee Profile > Employee Fields

Admin access can be managed from:

  • Admin Management > Admin Roles & Permissions

This helps organizations strengthen employee privacy, support compliance requirements, and reduce the risk of unintended exposure of sensitive employee information.

New admin notification for client-initiated shift changes

When a client changes a shift, supplier teams need to know quickly so they can stay aligned on staffing, transportation, logistics, and event operations.

Suppliers can now receive an email notification when a client moves an employee to a shift that was not part of the original order. The email includes the client name, the original shift details, the new shift details, and a direct link to the relevant shift or event.

This notification is turned off by default. To start receiving these emails, enable it from Settings → My Admin settings → Admin Notifications → New shift was created according to a client's change shift

More improvements are coming soon, stay tuned for next month’s updates!
