Confirmation notifications are sent to ask your workers to confirm their attendance for a shift. These are especially useful when you need to verify availability in advance and ensure commitment to a scheduled event.

  • Sent to all workers booked for an event

  • Requires the worker to respond

  • Helps you track who’s actively acknowledging their shift

Reminders are sent as a push notification only, usually closer to the shift’s start time. Their purpose is to prompt attention and reduce no-shows by making sure the shift stays top-of-mind.

  • Sent to all booked workers

  • No action required from the worker

  • Used as a last-minute nudge

Best Practice: Keep It Simple

While the system allows you to send multiple confirmations and reminders, we recommend limiting it to few only.

Sending too many notifications can:

  • Confuse your workers

  • Cause them to ignore or overlook important updates

  • Feel like spam

Key Notes
Workers will receive both a confirmation request and a reminder for the same event. These notifications are independent of each other — responding to one does not affect the other.
