If you need to clock out from a location different from where you clocked in while the geo-fencing limitations are enabled, there are two possible solutions available:
1. Captains Can Clock Employees In/Out
Captains have the ability to clock employees in or out, regardless of their location or any geo-fencing limitations. This allows for seamless management of time entries, even if an employee is not clocking-out at the clock-in location.
2. Automatic Clock-Out After Check-Out
Check out does not rely on the employee's location. Here’s how you can leverage this feature:
Automatic Clock-Out After Check-Out: To streamline the process and ensure employees are clocked out regardless of their location, you can enable automatic clock-out. This setting ensures that once an employee checks out, they are automatically clocked out after a predefined duration.
Setting Up Automatic Clock-Out After Check-Out
Go to Settings.
Navigate to Scheduling & Timesheet.
Select the Timesheet tab.
Scroll down to the Employee App T&A.
Enable the option for automatic clock-out after check-out and configure the desired time period.
By implementing these solutions, you can effectively manage clock-in and clock-out scenarios across multiple locations.
