What are the time capturing options available?

There are various options for enabling employees to inform their shift arrival:

  1. Allow employees to clock in & out through their app.

  2. Allow captains to manually edit clocks in/out time for employees

  3. Show confirmation pass to staff on app

    1. Employees have the ability to present a QR code upon arrival for a shift.

    2. Managers can scan employees' QR code.

To configure option 1 & 2:

‘Settings’ → ‘Scheduling & Timesheet’ → ‘Timesheet’ → ‘Timesheet’’ headline

To configure option 3:

‘Settings’ → ‘Scheduling & Timesheet’ → ‘Scheduling’ → ‘App’ headline

You can adjust these settings at both the branch and event levels:

  • Branch level: Go to SettingsScheduling & TimesheetTimesheetEmployee App T&A. Then, select the specific branch name from the purple overhead line and toggle Allow employees to clock in & out through their mobile app.

  • Event level: Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the event, select Edit Event, scroll to the bottom to Additional Settings, and enable Allow employee clock in & out through their app.


You can restrict clock in & out for employees when not in location or not on time.

  1. Time Frame Restriction: Employees can clock in and out either at the exact time of their shift or within a designated time frame before and after it.

  2. Location Restriction (GEO location): Employees can clock in at the specific event location or in proximity to it within a defined range.

To configure option 1:

‘Settings’ → ‘Scheduling & Timesheet’ → ‘Timesheet’ → ‘Timesheet’’ headline

To configure option 2:

‘Settings’ → ‘Scheduling & Timesheet’ → ‘Timesheet’ → ‘GEO location’ headline
