Creating Multi-Day Events

We're excited to roll this one out, so how does it work?

Updated over a week ago

When will you use it?

  1. If you're booking a multi day job such as a festival, a conference.

  2. If the job has the same details, they will be aggregated - client, uniform, invoice, payroll.

What are the implications?

once you create a multi day event, you attach one client and the project will have one client with one invoice that will aggregate all the days and shifts into one project.

In this article:

Scheduling

When creating a new event you will now see this new check box under the date picker:

Once you check the "Multi-Day" checkbox, and pick the relevant time range - you'll have the option to choose an application type:

Lets go over the two types:

  1. Per shift - Ask employees to apply for shifts separately:

When you choose this option, your employees will see all event days aggregated in one event, but will be able to apply to each shift separately.

  2. Entire event - Ask employees to apply for an entire event

When you choose this option, employees will apply for the entire event and you can choose where to book them - to any of the shifts on any of the days.

Create shifts screen now has a date picker for each shift:

you can create another day and create all different days per shift

Scheduling screen now has the option to view one day at a time, or watch all dates of the event:

Availability check

Availability checks now show all shifts and days, allowing you to select which shifts to send your employees.

On their app employees will now see two different types of multi-day events, :

  1. Per shift - Ask employees to apply for shifts separately:

Employees will see a full list of shifts, they will be able to apply to each shift on each day, depending on their position.

  2. Entire event - Ask employees to apply for an entire event

Employees will see a list of positions, and the relevant dates of the event. They will have the option to apply to their position on all days of the event. Admins will see them as available for you to book on the "available" column on all the days of the "Mult-day" event.

Multi-day finance - Payroll + Invoice

Hurray! There is now the ability to aggregate all event days into one invoice and payroll page, and to select one day at a time.
