Auto Pilot: Enhanced Self-Service Booking for Your Clients

Take your clients' self-service experience to the next level with Auto Pilot - a feature designed to offer more control, faster workflows, and tailored automation when placing orders.

🚀 What Is Auto Pilot?

Auto Pilot is an optional setting we can enable on your account to give self-service clients more flexibility in how bookings are handled.

Once enabled, clients working with at least one Auto Pilot-enabled supplier will see a pop-up menu when placing an order, allowing them to choose from up to five order modes - ranging from fully manual to fully automated.

How to mark a client as self-service:

Go to the Client module, select the client you want to update, and toggle the Self-Service Mode on.


⚙️ How It Works

When Auto Pilot is enabled and the client is in self-service mode, the following order options appear:

1. Request Only - New!

  • The supplier must manually approve the order.

  • This replaces the old “Default” button, which behaved with some variability based on client status.

  • Clients not marked as self-service will only be able to select this option - when selecting all other options, the suppliers’ select button will be greyed out.

  • Clients with self-service enabled can choose this or any of the other automation options.


    📝 This update eliminates the confusion around the old “Default” button and puts control directly in your clients' hands.

2. Auto Approval + Availability Check

  • The order is automatically approved.

  • An availability check is sent to all relevant employees.

3. Auto Book Preferred Employees

  • The order is automatically approved.

  • An availability check is sent to all relevant employees.

  • If any preferred employees apply, they are auto-booked.

4. Auto Book Any Available Employee

  • The order is automatically approved.

  • The system auto books any available employee who applies.

5. Self-Service Employee Selection (Coming Soon!)

  • A future feature that will let clients manually select available employees during the self-service order flow.
