You might be seeing the "Could not verify" error because you're not yet registered with an employer on the platform.
To resolve this, your employer will need to add you to their account as an employee. Once added, you'll be able to access the app without any issues.

This error message indicates two possible reasons: either your number has been blocked by the Fraud Guard, or you entered your phone number too many times and it got blocked. You’ll need to reach out to us to get unblocked, or wait 12 hours before trying again.

This error can be caused by connection to VPN. If you are using a VPN, please try disconnecting and attempting to log in once more.
In addition, you can try changing WI-FI networks or attempt to open the app using cellular data.
If those two still don't seem to work, here is a quick reset you can try that usually solves it:
On your iPhone, go to:
Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [Your App] > Delete App
Once it's fully deleted, reinstall the app from the App Store.
This method clears any saved data that might be causing the issue — it's more effective than just deleting the app from the Home screen.
