How to sign in using Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi-Factor Authentication provides your account with an additional layer of security. Learn how to use it here!

Updated over 10 months ago

In this article we'll review the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) flow when signing into Ubeya. MFA will require a unique code sent via SMS in addition to a user's personal password - for increased security over the platform and your data.

To active MFA for your account, get in touch through the support chat or by emailing support@ubeya.com.

Once MFA has been activated, logging into Ubeya as an admin will include a few additional steps:

  • Type your email and password and then click on 'Log in'.

  • Assign a mobile number (including the country code) and then click on 'Setup'.

  • Type the code you received and then click 'Verify'. You can also click on 'Regenerate' to receive a new code.

Please note that after 5 failed authentication attempts, the account will be locked for 10 minutes.

A few notes:

  • If you are not receiving a code despite clicking on 'Regenerate', get in touch with us.

  • If an incorrect number was set to receive the code via SMS, contact us and we'll reset it for you.
