Align Platform Language with U.S. Workforce Terminology

If your organization operates in the United States, you can set the Ubeya language to English (US) to align with local terminology.

When enabled, the platform uses “Workers” instead of “Employees”, matching common U.S. workforce language.

How to set the language

You can set the language in two ways:

  • Account level - applies to all admins in the account

  • Admin level - each admin can choose their preferred language in their "Admin Settings"

Why this matters

If consistent terminology, such as “Workers,” is important for your organization, setting the platform to English (US) can help create a more familiar and consistent experience for your team. It can also support clearer communication and better alignment with external systems such as payroll providers.
