When You Accidentally Clock In an Employee

Quick steps to fix an accidental employee clock-in in the Timesheet module.

If you accidentally clocked in an employee, the correct action is to delete the incorrect time entry so they can clock in on their own for their later shift.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Timesheet module.

  2. Search for the employee’s name and locate the incorrect clock-in record.

  3. Click the small “x” icon to remove the reported time. This ensures the system recognizes the employee as not clocked in.

Once deleted, the employee will be able to clock in normally for their shift.
